What's going on guys! Still here and not giving up on myself. Boy, what a crazy week it's been for me, I am still struggling emotionally at times but I am still hanging in there. So these past 2 days I've been depressed for specific reasons, I didnt even go to the gym and just stayed at home relaxing and recovering from my soreness, although I am ashamed that my depressive state had me eating bad food choices which one day included chicken nachos and a steak burrito, the next day I indulged in 2 and a half hamburgers that my family cooked and some chips. i was feeling really s***** about those decisions BUT i was trying to counter that by staying with my intermittent fasting and today I decided to check the damage and to my shock I lost another 2 lbs!? 🤨🤔 I don't know if it was the fact that Ive been fasting or the fact that I actually consumed more calories than Ive been limiting myself to which is 1800 a day or maybe the fact that i ate so much protein. Someone PLEASE fill me in on this magic, although I am going back to my regular food choices, thanks again for all the support everyone! i will be going to bjj class in a few hours so wish me luck. WHOA!!! IT HAS FINALLY HAPPENED!! 😀😆🤯🎆🎉🏆🥇Today is the day I hit my first goal of being under the big 300s. I can't honestly say that it wasn't easy infact there were days where I backtracked and there were times that I doubted myself from not seeing the progress but I kept going, consistency is the key and luckily I have a lot of patience. My strategy has changed from when I first started. I've just implemented intermittent fasting along with counting calories, limiting carbohydrates and making the effort of being physically active. I have a gym membership and if you follow me you will see that i just signed up for martial arts classes. I know I'm still considered obese but I feel a lot happier and even, believe it or not, healthier! I would have difficulty breathing at times and couldnt get good sleep but now I have noticed a difference. Guys, I've lost 34 lbs in 2 months which was huge for me, my clothes fits better. My best advice is be patient with yourself and stay dedicated, if you dont like routine then change it up a little, instead of going to the gym everyday, make a week a bike ride, go jog at the park, go hiking, run at the beach, look at different classes ( some places even allow you to try a day or even a week free ) FIND SOMETHING THAT YOU ENJOY!! Working out with buddies is a great idea but you have to be realistic and understand that they wont always be there physically with you but thats OK! That's not their goal, that is YOUR GOAL because this is YOUR LIFE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU. 😎 Anyway, again I couldn't have done this without the FATSECRET community and I truly owe you guys my thanks, seeing how many people support me and commenting on my pics brings me motivation and to use this app is such an integral tool, i find myself constantly scanning foods to see what I can and cannot eat. Anyhow, today is a busy day for me, wish me luck at practice, guys! and again thank you for being here.
