Why? 12 more days untill the half-marathon. And I got sick, am lying in bed on anticiotics. I cought a bronchitis.
My doctor says, that I will most likely be fit untill then. I doubt that. Since I must do some training before, and a half marathon is quite intense. I read, that after a bronchitis one must wait at least an extra week before starting to run because otherwise one could have problems with the weakened heart. So who shall I believe? My doctor or the internet?

I woke up with a sore throat... I can't get sick now, 2 weeks before my halfmarathon and a week befor the exam in uni.
Drinking ginger-tee and seeing what happens.

Finally, the day has come.
59,8kg!!!! :)
After 6 years of pitying myself because of my weight gain instead of actually changing something... I finaly changed my lifestyle 10 months ago and now lost just over 7 kilos.
Without starving myself (okay, in november and december I was overdoing it and ate way to little until I started realizing, that 2000kcal and lots of sports is better for me) or forbidding any foods. It could have gone faster, but I din't want to feel as if I was missing out something.
Yesterday I was at the gym and they measured my bodyfat etc.. I'm at 18,5% bodyfat now and have a high amout of muscles (including organ tissue) of 47,1kg and 59,9% water which is pretty high, too.
So I really am happy!!!
I must check out whether I at all can loose an other 1,9kg for my goal of 58kg. I doubt that because I measured out that at the muscle and water rate of my body, 2 kg (of fat!) would mean that my bodyfat would be below 15%. That really sounds crazy, since the BMI says, that my ideal weight would be 54kg.. Once again it shows, that the BMI is only for average people. Not for athletes, peoply who do weight training, or people with a water content of 60%.
So I will change my goal from now. I am happy to go to 18,0% bodyfat, which is not too little and healthy for athletes I saw. So I will try to not loose any extra weight (maximum 1kg), rather I want to build up my muscles a little more and start some ab training.
