Day 6 of Insanity - Because I'll feel proud of myself.
And I do, I've gotten through the 1st week of Insanity (tomorrow's a rest day) and I feel great - I don't ache anywhere near as much, I think that was down to Day 4 which was
a lot
of stretches. The sweat still pours out of me - nice image I know :s - but I am able to do a lot more than 6 days ago.
The day after tomorrow is my weigh-in day, I don't think I will have lost much if anything, I'm eating so much, but I do have my measurements from before I started though it's possible that there won't be much difference there after just 1 week - I know this sounds like I'm setting myself up for a fall but I'm not, I've done all the reading and seen other peoples comments and the first month can be a bit slow for weight loss.

Day 5 of Insanity - Because I want to look better.
All I can say is - exhausted! Pure cardio is a killer, I couldn't do the last 2 mins at all but I will next time!
Watched a program on iPlayer last night called The Men Who Made Us Fat - it's made me even more determined not to eat processed food, I have such a sweet tooth, the GDA's say 80g of sugar per day and so far I've been able to do that give or take a couple of grams but I think I might try and cut it - not sure how, as most of my sugar is coming from fruit and I don't want to stop my 5 a day but if I don't use it up it will be stored as fat.

Day 4 of Insanity -Because I want to do real push-ups,
I'm aching less than I expected this morning, don't get me wrong, I still hurt but my levels of expectation were obviously very pessimistic after yesterday - mind you I haven't actually done Day 4 yet, still waiting for breakfast to digest.
My family aren't really being very supportive of my exercise - they spend more time mocking my efforts than anything else. I'm doing as much as I'm capable of, which is what you're told to do, but because that is far less than the 'Insanity crew', they find it highly amusing - it's starting to brass me off but it's also making me even more determined to get through it and be 20lbs lighter (I think it will take me 2 rounds because you can't cut too many calories and still have the energy to do the workouts)

Day 3 of Insanity - Because I'm tired of being tired!
I ache even more but feel good, I'm finding it hard to eat 5 times a day and not be eating late at night but I am off work at the moment, when I get back I'll be having breakfast a good 2 hours earlier. Which should mean I eat no later than 8pm.
I couldn't do all the exercises today - I just wasn't physically strong enough to support my body for all the push-ups and tricep presses - something else to work on! Upper body strength. I didn't stop though, I did 'cheats push-ups', the ones where your knees stay on the floor, so at least I kept moving.
But my thighs, my poor, poor thighs :D
