Well I bumped up my calories for breakfast on purpose. However, I ate lunch at my sisters and had a regular sandwich on white bread. Thankfully I took some raisins and walnuts with me so I did not have the chips. My biggest problem was dinner, we went to a Chinese buffet. I did watch portions but I allowed myself all the food that I wanted. I did not have any dessert. I stayed within my RDI but, the choices were not that great. I am happy to have spent the time with my family so NO regrets.

Well I have tried to up my calorie intake. For the past three weeks I have been eating between 1600-1800 calories a day. All my meals were whole foods; protein, fruits, veggies, very little carbs and some cheese. I also use coconut oil to cook with. I lost 12# in the very beginning because of water weight. Since then I have not lost anything but, I have noticed a change in my clothing. My husband said that I was not eating enough calories for my weight. I have upped my caloric intake today and my food choices have not been the usual healthy choices that I have been making. I still have not met the new 2300 RDI. I will have to find a way to meet in the middle and be successful. I have also begun a exercise routine and had to stop after just two days (twisted knee). I will be starting back up in a few days. Feeling good about this lifestyle change. My children are reaping the benefits of this change also.
