I am a 53 year old grandmother, I am currently raising 2 of my grandchildren ages 14 and 12 I am happily married, now going on 29 years together. I have had type 2 diabetes for over the last 30 years The Atkins diet has been the first weight loss, lifestyle change that has really worked for me. Now if I could only reduce some of the stress in my life it would be fantastic lol. I love to laugh and joke and I believe in the power of humor. I play the guitar (not well) but I enjoy playing it anyway. Water aerobics is my favorite exercise, I don't worry about what I look like in a suit because, it makes me feel good to participate
I am willing to experiment with new ideas, foods, theories because I like to try new things. Being in my 50's is like getting to start the second half of life Except for the changes in my body, I feel quite young and alive, most of the time.
