Hi all,

Well I started this new journey on the 2nd of September. My true start weight was 261.4 lbs, I want to keep this here as a reminder NOT to go back!

I am 55, well I actually thought I was still 54 until my darling hubby corrected me.
In my mind I still feel like a 30yr old but the body, ah well that feels like about 80 yrs old, hey what I am thinking there are probably more 80yr olds out there with better bodies and fitter than me at the moment, but that is going to change.

My motto will be: I will not be beat, One day at a time and 1 pound at a time.

Apart from wanting to do this for myself I truly want to be down to my goal weight or near to it by next December. That's when my Hubby (No 2)and I will fly back to my Country, Australia visit with my children (well Men now) and get married again. This time my eldest son wants to give me away. Makes me teary eyed thinking about it.

I have 2 Sons and 2 Granddaughters plus 2 wonderful daughter in laws. None of them know I am doing this so oh boy what a surprise it will be for them to see the new me at the airport! Wish me well all in my journey to get rid of this fat once and for all!

Diet Started: 2nd September 2010
My Mini Goals:

1st--20lb lost-- Reached 14th October 2010
2nd--40lb lost-- Reached 30th December 2010
3rd--60lb lost--
4th--80lb lost--
5th--107lb lost--

Goal Weight--154lbs

Okay so I changed my Diet status from Atkins to My own diet. Don't want to upset the Die Hard Atkins people by varying my diet :)
I am basically still following the Atkins but making changes to suit my own body. After all everyone is different. My goal has remained the same and I am still committed to losing weight. Just a little differently I guess. If my way doesn't work I can always go back to a clean induction :) And I still appreciate any advice given. I don't say I will always listen but it is appreciated.
