Its been a bad day. Woke up late so didn't have time to weigh myself. Made it to work on time. It was a big day with some big wig clients flying in from the US. Even though I'd had nothing but coffee and cream for breakfast - I breezed through the first half of the day. Meeting went well, a success by any standard.
After the clients left - A bunch of us ordered in a late lunch. I ordered an egg salad with grilled chicken - all acceptable atkins food. About an hour after the meal I started feeling sick and sure enough. Food poisoning. My boss is a nice guy (relatively) and sent me home on a cab. I feel weak... but at least i'm not feeling nauseous. I hate being sick. :/ After a word with the doctor my "caregiver" at home made me some high carb fluids - juice/noodle soup. (Do not ask me why). He made me drink them. "Its not sugar, its honey! drink it." I do love the Idiot, so I did.
I did an extra half hour of Yoga last night but none today. First thing I'm going to do when I feel better I'm going to scream at the owner of the cafe that send me that salmonella laced - over priced - gastronomical disaster.
I'm not a confrontational person though... but I WANT to scream at the owner. Going to bed early tonight talk to the blokes and ladies tomm. Hope everyone else had a better day.
