Heartwarming to see those of you who have been knocking at my door, window, and waving as you pass by!! Holy smokes. I have been very busy and continue to be so no promises about being here a lot. I'm participating in a peer grant review and have a July 1st deadline to read and score 10 grant applications.
I have been doing horribly with eating and exercise and find myself unable to squeeze myself into my clothes. Not good and quite depressing. Embarrassed too. So don't get too excited at my chart. It doesn't reflect reality right now.
Unfortunately I do need to run. Get ready for work. I have a busy one ahead and my annual mammogram scheduled this afternoon. So glad some of you are my FB friends ... at least you know I am alive, even though I write very little about my feelings there. Much too public.

Well hello Carol. I am happy to see you here. I hope you have a nice day!! No need for any embarrassment here. That's for sure. We are all in the same boat here just trying to stay a float. With the help and support of each other we will do it!!

Glad to have you back, Miss Carol Moose, even if it's just for a drive by. I missed you. Definitely nothing to be embarrassed about. Work is stressful, isn't it? Good luck on your mammogram. They make you stop and smell the roses for a few minutes.
