I've been quite busy these past few days. I had to draw some plans for our rooftop deck, which needs to be fixed before summer. Or at least we're hoping it will be done by then. We are almost done with decorating the common areas of the building. After 2 years! But we can blame that on the previous condo board. The new one took over in January. I'm happy with it, as I got to do it. I really need some creative outlet since I'm not working right now.

The last few days I've been obsesing over a lot I found in our neighborhood. So I've pretty much design a house for it, hoping to hear if we'll be able to buy it. Keeping my fingers crossed! I'll call it the Shotgun diet! Hahaha. It's quite a narrow lot and it was a challange, but I love it. So, working on it pretty much made me forget I had to eat, thus the low calorie intake today.

I finally made it to the gym at 8PM. I had skipped the gym 3 days in a row. Mostly because I have all sorts of pain. I injured my shoulder and it's not feeling better, so I've mainly done leg work. So Friday I woke up with a very sore knee. I had been so careful about not injuring my ankle...again...that I guess I wasn't paying attention to anything else. I can only hope it all heals fast.

I really want to loose as much as possible before summer for 2 reasons. One, I don't want to buy big summer clothes. And second, my kids summer camp is not as long as school so I'll have less time to hit the gym.

Anyway, I thought I'd work out for 30 min. but ended up doing 50. If ever I feel like not going to the gym I will tell myself to just work for 20 min. I'm sure I will end up doing more than that.

My weight had been stuck for a few days and I was getting frustrated. But I weighted myself before the gym and I had gone down 1/2 pound since the morning. So hopefully tomorrow morning I'll have a nice weigh in. On the red scale at the gym I was 204.4 that would be 21.4 pounds since the challange started 8 weeks ago tomorrow.

Ok, a funny story. A couple of weeks ago I brought home a measuring tape from Ikea (made out of paper). I started using it to measure my waist. At first it wasn't big enough for about 5 cm. Then one day I ripped it and lost the first 5 cm. Now I'm happy to say I don't need them anymore!
I've lost about 11 cm on my waist. Now if only my butt would shrink that fast!
