Soooooooo...I have mono :( Thats why I didn't get to hike up stone mountain this weekend, I am just way way way too weak. I am still at work with F*$%ing mono! Only because my boss is such a B****. I still went to my boyfriends over the weekend. We went to joes crab shack and saw the movie Friday night. I didnt even end up eating any crab...I just had a salad that I barely ate any of. I've completely lost my appetite. Saturday I barely ate anything all day...just had a bite of pancake...then a few bites of soup...which I had to force myself to eat. I didn't lose a pound though... which was shocking to me. Still not in onederland...

Saturday instead of going to hike up stone mountain we went and walked around this place called Noah's Arc in Locust Grove. Its a place where they've rescued animals and it's completely free to get in. I was suprised how much they had there. lions, tigers, bears, monkies, buffalo, ostrichs...all kinds of things. I was completely out of energy after walking that which sucks because it was such a beautiful day. We went back to my boyfriends and I fell asleep watching tv with him and I slept a solid 14 hours. Sunday I still didn't want to eat anything but i FORCED myself to eat a 6 inch sub from subway in hopes it would give me more energy. I ate every bite...still not much energy.

Today after work I have to go to the senior center and do some volunteer work I already promised I'd do. It's only playing games with old nursing home people, but I just don't feel like it! I'll still do it though; I'm big about keeping my word. Then I'll go straight home and straight to bed.

Sarah, that's terrible. I hope you feel better soon. Maybe the elderly people will make you feel better. Good for you for keeping your word. Don't forget to go straight home and straight to bed.

Wahh, Feel better soon!!! Once you get home get your rest and try to drink fluids through the day, I hate that feeling when even water is gross lol

Be Careful!! Mono is serious stuff.... I got it when I was in middle school at a cheerleading camp and I kept telling the coaches I was sick and I guess they though I was being LAZY because camp was a lot of work and they kind of ignored it. Well, I got back home later in the week and was rushed to the ER - I was in the bed for 3 weeks straight Dr's order! Hope you feel better, My spleen and head HURT so bad I could not stand to be touched! You better try to get out of work a few days!

Lol yeah it's safe to be around anyone really as long as I dont go kiss them, or force them to drink or eat after me

Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well, and have lost your appetite. Forcing yourself to eat, when you have no appetite, is a hard thing to do. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

People always lose a ton of weight when they have mono, lol. You'll be in onederland in no time! Of course this is a terrible way to get there. Try not to do so much, you need to rest. I hope you get better soon :)

Just be careful and don't smooch the old guys. I've seen it myself they're pretty slick at putting the moves on! DON'T FALL FOR THEIR CHARM! LOL!!
