TGIF friends! I made it home from Sacramento, even in the wind and rain. I learned A LOT while down there and even got to meet my state Senator. Funny story about that, I have never been in the California state capital and why it did not occur to me that I would have to go through security I have no idea. So there I am taking out my pepper spray, leather man, swiss army knife, etc. My boss is cracking up as I am being wanded, twice. The security guard was kind and I did get my stuff back upon exiting.

We did a lot of walking which was nice to counter the amount of sitting we did. I feel a little swollen today and I know it is from all the salt of eating out. I did make some good choices, like skipping the pasta salad. The other thing that was a little strange was I had to ask for water, they had coffee and juices but no water. Next time I will remember to bring my own.
