So! It's been a while. Here's a quick recap on why--
When I left H University for home, my eating went kind of off the rails. Mostly stress eating, but also general holiday craziness. Then, upon returning to the H University area, I stayed with WB. He was amazing, but we both went a little bit crazy in terms of eating-- that whole "My diet will start January 1st" mentality.
One thing I'm grateful for is that I didn't gain back everything I've lost even when I was off the wagon. But of course, I don't want to stay where I am, so it's time to get my butt in gear and start dropping again.
So far, the plan is to exercise in the morning monday/wednesday/friday, from 7:15-8:30 am. I figure by starting off at just three times a week, I won't be setting myself up for failure. Plus, working out in the morning gets it out of the way, so I can hang out with my friends in the evening. Hopefully WB and I can start taking more walks around his neighborhood or H University campus.
Food wise, my biggest issues are snacking and portion control--I have the ability to eat like a 17 year old male body builder, but I sure as hell can't burn that many calories! So, it's back to counting those calories.
In addition to the previous stuff, I really want to get back in the habit of journaling every day. Even if it's just "Today sucked, I'm tired, good night", I want to get those words down. I also want to be more active on FatSecret, and catch up with how all my buddies are doing.
Allright, that about sums it up! Fingers crossed I get the job I'm interviewing for next week!
