New mini-goals ....
1. 199.8 (I really want to see under 200!!!)(a mere 3.4 lbs away)
2. 195 (my weight when I returned back from my two week vacation in Mexico March 2011) (8.2 lbs away)
3. 189 (my weight when I started my vacation in Mexico March 2011) (14.2 lbs away)
4. 185 (top of my desired weight range and where I had maintained for over a year!!!)(18.2 lbs away)
5. 180 (GOAL!!!!)(23.2 lbs away)
I am not attaching "dates" to the goals as I truly have no idea how quickly or slowly I'll arrive and I need to practice patience ...and realize it isn't the speed with which I reach the goals that is important. What is important is progress, the process, and being able to maintain the losses over the long haul.
I can do this. I can be kind to myself and will enjoy the journey. There is something to learn everyday. Gaining and losing then gaining and losing again DOES NOT necessarily indicate failure ... simply a part of the journey.

Carol, all great goals and I am quite sure you will attain them, and sooner rather than later...and yes all of this is part of the journey, and we need to love ourselves no matter what part of the journey we are on. Every day is a chance to learn and grow, and with that growth comes new found confidence and self love! Have a great weekend, my lovely, close to goal, 50 something woman! Hi Carol, just cruising around. So glad you have lost a little more weight, it will come, it will come. I am also pleased for you that you are beginning to recognize your thought processes when you are unkind to yourself, rather than just being unkind. That is a huge step (one I wish I had more often myself). Re Disney - 300.00 for a week for a place to stay is great but Disney itself is very expensive. The parks - wow - we went last February to celebrate our anniversary and although I can't remember exact prices I know it was really expensive for one day, and the food in the park is also expensive. Not sure if that is helpful at all but Disney isn't somewhere I would go if money was 'tight' Hope you have a great remainder of the week-end.

Yea for you Carol. I have to start setting some goals again too. I have not been a good girl and I am starting to hate myself again for not having the dicipline. I am slowly getting it back. Who'd have thunk when we started this journey that it would be neverending? I'm so happy it is though because we will always have each other for the love and support we need. Hope you had a great Saturday and hope today is even better. Other than that snow..lol I'm definitely not ready for that yet.
