Things have been so difficult lately. I need a different stress outlet; food is packing on the pounds. Trying to regain control yet again. They say that only crazies start a diet during the holiday season. I've been called worse!.......

I turned my stress outlet to shopping and working out. Find something you love to do and make that your stress outlet. I love to dance, so I tried zumba. I get the best "high" so to speak after a zumba class. It doesn't even feel like exercise. I used to use food (originally I was 220 lbs) but realized after eating something horrible for me, I'd feel even worse afterwards :o( With the holiday season coming up, shopping may work in your favor! I got to the point though where I would buy things and end up returning them later. You aren't crazy... you can do it! When I started all I did was cut my portions of what I'd normally eat in half and lost 30 lbs in the first few months. If you want icecream, eat it, don't deprive yourself. Just eat half the portion you used to. Hope that helps some! Good luck! :o)
