Veggies, it's delicious. I make about 1/2 of a stock pot. In pot add 1 T oil, sautee onion, some garlic and any color pepper, I normally use green just b/c it's cheaper. Add whatever else you want! I put carrots, and celery. Add chicken broth, should be 1/2 the pot. Add about 1/3 bag of lentils, let simmer until lentils are done. My friend makes this and they put a can of tomatoes in, but I didn't like it that way. They also sometimes take 1 cup of the veggies out and puree them and add them back in b/c it adds for a thicker soup, but I don't bother w/ that. Also, this soup is not nearly as good w/out the garlic.
