I am managing to keep my RDI pre-planned to around 100% today compared to previously allowing it to go to 129% and 142% the last two Thursdays.

Treated myself to a slice of Woolies carrot cake and a hot cross bun as a snack and carbs are adding up to +/-200g compared to 304.1g and 381.83g the previous two Thursdays.

I'm actually proud of myself since I initially put 2 slices of carrot cake in my plate but I entered the weight into my food diary and saw that 2 slices(100g) is 366 calories and its such a small dense piece so I put 1 piece back and opted to make a bowl of oats which is 146 calories and way more volume than 1 slice of the carrot cake so it satisfied my snacking for lesser calories.

Now that I have experimented so much in my journey, I am confident that I have the knowledge and experience to continue my weight/fat loss goals even when I get a gain every now and then :)

I have a hectic April with bday parties every weekend and I'll be indulging in lots of food so I might as well make the best of March to stay on track.

Today's gym session was AWESOME!!! I added a set of 10 reps of 2 new exercises to my workout and then I ended my session with 2 x 5 reps sets of 80kg deadlifts :D I usually only do 60kg deadlifts but today I challenged myself and won!
