Thanks to yesterday's workout at the gym, I woke up this morning with sore glutes, quads and biceps.
I am expecting the water retention to mess around with my weight for tomorrow's weigh-in but I've definitely gotten stronger as I was able to use heavier weights without sacrificing good form when doing my workout.
I read a very interesting article that exercising slows down the rate of weight loss as opposed to a person losing weight just by calorie deficit and not working out. So dont be alarmed if you do everything right and see a slow rate of weight loss or even a gain.

Oh thank goodness ... that makea sense.... I also try not to weigh after a marathon becuase then I retain water like mad! after a 21km that I did the scale showed a 7kg gain... I nearly died

You always have great information BBO, this makes sense, I have seen the ups and downs when I have hard workouts. BTW, I googled resistant starch, I am in awe, so I plan to see if it affects my weight.
