I logged my food for the day and my husband ask my why I put in my food before I ate it. I do this because then I only have to do it once and once it is logged I don't stray from it. I don't even think about having anything else. I think it helps me stay on track. I like to know what I am going to eat. Then there are no suprises. Surprises mess with my head. Like when I go into work and there are doughnuts on the table or it's so.eones birthday or the Dr's bring pizza or subway. If I have logged my food for the day I usually don't eat anything. Just a thought.

I do that too. Helps keep myself on track. Or if I know I'm going out, I eat less before.

Ditto! For me, it's budgeting my calories the same as making up a monthly financial budget. Planning how to "spend" our calorie allowance everyday is what leads to success.
