The weekend was a blur. I have been having a marathon of migraines lately ... I have no idea why and am rather tired of it at this point. I hope it is getting out of my system before Wednesday when vacation starts. I've been recording my weight the old-fashioned way but have not updated it here ... yet. I will. I'm up a little. That is pretty much normal for me so no worries. I have a very busy day ahead of me ... but only 2 work days this week!!! We got our basic bags packed over the weekend, and a list going of what still needs to go into the suitcases before we leave. I couldn't sleep last night. I have no idea why. I was up way past midnight which was troublesome since my alarm goes off at 4:15 am. UGH. I don't feel too bad right now but I imagine I'll be tired tonight.

My mom had a great weekend making a miniature lamp that actually works!!

Energy logs to supplement our wood supply

My bags are packed ... I'm ready to go!!!

My dog, curled up against me on my bed

My faithful elliptical machine that keeps on ticking!!

That is the problem with sleeping in on the weekend (at least for me!)..I end up not able to go to sleep at my normal time. Naps do it to me too! :) Hope your migranes subside. Peppermint oil on your temples helps some folks...caffeine or benadryl also help some folks...

Bummer you couldn't get to sleep last night - I hate that. I, on the other hand, went to sleep at 8.30 last night, and I have no idea why!! Didn't even wake up till 7.30 when one of the kids came in! Anyway, hope you have a great day, and get some good sleep tonight.

Oh man I hate nights like that. My mind goes crazy thinking of everything but sleep. I hope you get those migaines figured out, maybe the vacation sure will help.

Ugh. Just reading your post makes me terribly tired. ;-) I really dread nights like that. Hopefully you get some good zzzz's tonight!

Kudos for getting those bags packed already! I'm usually up all night the night before I leave doing last minute packing. Hope your headaches go away. Hope you have the BEST vacation EVER! Thanks for the comment you made on my journal. You are so right about FOCUSING......it is very important. I'm going to keep that in mind. :)

Sorry the migraines are being so mean to you! Maybe they are getting out of your system so you'll be free and clear for your trip. Warm sand will help, I'm sure. :)
