Sunday and I am so glad I still have today and tomorrow with no work!! Thought I better write something, or after my last journal entry some of you might think I went off the deep end.

Yesterday we spent driving around town, looking for yard sales, visiting antique shops and thrift stores, ate out TWICE, fixed a flat tire, grocery shopping ... and no exercise.

Friday I did well with exercise and food ... yet still showed an increase on the damn scale. Yesterday I did not do well with food. Did not weigh this morning. I imagine I am right back where I started. UGH. It doesn't take much to fluctuate back up. Makes me wonder if I'll ever get "there" again. Where did those positive thoughts/messages go?? I might have temporarily misplaced them!!

Today I WILL get somethings done around here. Laundry is started. Elliptical is waiting in the wings. I will eat well today, drink plenty of water, clean something, write something, find my groove thang again.

I find I am easily derailed. I have concluded I do this to myself, it really isn't anyone else's "fault." It is my expectations that set myself up for trouble. Unmet expectations bring forth frustration, anger, disappointment, sadness, and so forth.

Oh ... we had to buy new phones for the house too. We could still call out and could hear the party on the other end but they couldn't hear us!!! Only on the cordless phones. I guess the lightning fried them. It has happened to us more than once. I wish we had good enough cell coverage up here that we could get rid of our land line but alas ... we do not. We try to remember to unplug the land line when a storm hovers overhead but when it is the middle of the night, brain cells don't fire as quickly.

Anyway ...

Grateful ... yea ... grateful I do need to be ...

1. We had fun yesterday ...

2. I found a little inexpensive table to put my computer on upstairs ... my roll top desk wasn't working well for my computer ... which I moved upstairs so hubby and I would be in the same room when we were on our computers.

3. I did not step on the scale this morning.

4. I too have joined the "Kate" club with Sharon ... only recording losses on my chart!!

5. Two more days before I return to work ... always a good thing!!!

Have a lovely day ... I hope there is someone out there having some fun ... I'm sure there is!!!

Our cordless phones are going too. When you try to dial, you have to press so hard - and my nails are so weak, that they often break when I push to hard! Oh well. I hear you 100% about where you are mentally... we are both doing our best to not go back to old habits. And with each others help, we will do it!! Its not a race, this is our lives. (((HUGS)))
