Ending August at a total of four pounds down for 2015. Not what my goal was, but any deficit for the year will be a welcomed improvement.
This past week was a bit hectic, but helpful. I'm part of a two-person team at work, and the other half was out last week for vacation, which meant 13 hours of overtime for me. I also started my first grad school online course at the same time.
What I found, however, is that with my schedule as packed as it is, I am a lot less likely to slack in the exercise department because I know that I will not have the energy or free time later on to make up whatever I decide to skip.
Setting a new goal. My first journal of 2015 had me wanting to lose 10 pounds for the year. However, I'm averaging 1/2 a pound a month, which would put me at six for the year if I can keep this trend up at the very least. 2015 will see me lose no less than six pounds.
