This summer just seems to be not as good as last summer. I talked to the future hubs about it last night, and I am fairly certain my funky mood has been a direct result of me regaining some of my weight. I have lost a lot of confidence after gaining about 10 pounds from my lowest recorded weight on Thanksgiving of this past year, but its not necessarily the number on the scale. I just don't feel good. Last summer I hovered around the low 150's for a while, but I was working out 4-5x a week. I felt lean, and strong, and powerful.

I just feel I make way more excuses then I should be. After my trainer and I stopped working together because she moved, I still went to the gym, but I stopped lifting for the most part. Then after a while I started eating worse, but I still maintained because I was going to the gym and burning calories. More recently I have just stopped working out all together, and I still have continued eating like crap. Of course I gained some weight back and lost a lot of muscle.

I know what I need to do to fix it. I know if I eat cleaner and workout it'll still work. I just am in this weird little depression where I just feel its not worth it. Its really hard to go from working so hard and lose a bunch of weight and have people look up to you and compliment you, and then gain weight back and see it stop. Or have to go hang out with your family who is well aware you lost a bunch of weight but hasnt seen you since you put more on. It's hard not wanting to hang out with your friends because you worry that they secretly judge you for gaining weight back.

Instead of fixing it, I am just stuck in the everlasting summer pity party. I just hope I can snap out of it soon before I get back to where I started.
