Sorry I have been too busy to journal in the last couple of days.
Attended a wake and funeral of a friends grand daughter.Maybe you heard about it on the national news.Her name was Danielle Dennis-Towne.She disappeared with a life long friend in NC,and was found shot in the head in the trunk of his car in Virgina.It was such a tragedy.
Weight wise,I am doing the same.I haven't eaten off plan or cheated at all.I have resigned myself that I a SLOW LOSER..Maybe that is a good thing because my skin shouldn't sag too much.So far so good.I saw some people at the wake I haven't seen since starting this WOE and they noticed the weight loss.A few even said I looked younger..Now that was a real ego boost..

Thanks Buffy,The family and entire town is devastated.She was the grand daughter of our past fire chief and grew up around the fire house.

Oh, that's awful. I am so sorry! Just the stress of this event will probably effect your weightlosses. Very normal. But in general, you are averaging 1-2lbs/week steadily. That's fantastic. Just stay the course, and ride the ride... you'll be that much closer to your goals as each week passes! Lifting this poor family in my prayers!!! Much Love.

How horrible! I just can't even imagine having to go through something so awfull, my thoughts & prayers go to the families involved! I am so proud of you for staying true to your WOL/WOE choices, you are doing an awesome job. I don't think I would say that you lose slowly, just healthy! You know, I was just thinking this morning actually, that as we live through this journey of weight loss, we are just really learning what works for each of us. Everyday is an experiment as we practice eating & living better. Don't sell yourself short, be proud of those compliments & your everyday efforts!
