Greetings!! Looks like perhaps a few showers here today! At least there is some cloud cover and the temperature feels a little cooler! I'm still up early and maybe I can sneak a nap in later today. I'm inching closer to the "blue line" with my weigh in today. I still weigh in daily, I just don't record daily weights. This week I've been as high as 185.2 and then as low as today, 178.6!! That is quite a range, isn't it??? I had two nights of snacking ... but other than that it was an okay week food wise. I suppose I ought to be used to the way my numbers fluctuate by now. Seems like I have an almost 10 pound fluctuation range where others only have 2-3 pounds in their fluctuation range. Maybe in my delusional state I'm just making all this up!! LOL!!! What really matters is continuing the journey, paying attention to the "sides" of the mountain and not only focused on the top!! I'm glad I appear to be finished with my snack-a-mania for now ... that was just a little scary!!!
Today is an at home, catch up on the house, maybe read a little, take a nap, maybe chat with an old college friend online, hang out with the dogs sort of day. Mom will be gone most of the day, hanging out with her "miniature" friends (no her friends aren't actually miniature sized, she and her friends make miniature things!!!). Bob is at work until at least 5 pm tonight. Oh, yes, of course, there will be the standard elliptical workout too ... oh how I love to sweat!! LOL!!!
I'm hoping to push the numbers a little lower ... I'd love to be able to have 165-170 the low end of my range ... but it might take some time. I'll remind myself not to be in a hurry and to soak in all the progress I've made!! I'll also remind myself that the joy is not in the destination but in the journey ... and that I have been in a healthy range now for quite a little bit of time!!! Hooray for me!!!!
