Good Thursday Morning, FS Buddies AND Fellow Climbers:
Today I offer you TWO Laughs from my personal experience.
I Sincerely hope they BRIGHTEN your day!!!
Several years ago, I was visiting a friend in a nursing home.
As I walked into the lobby, 2 elderly ladies were talking loudly,
obviously both had hearing difficulties. I gave them my warmest smile and said: "How R U Ladies, today?"
they both replied and I took about about 4 steps and one of them said to the other:
"My, thats a big man"
Second Lady, "Yes.... but he has a nice face!"
First Lady: "Yes, he does!!!"
I walked into my friend's room still laughing and with a big smile on my face.________
Several weeks after I "got serious" about my health in 2011, I went to my Primary Care Dr. for my annual physical exam...
As he walked into the room, he said (VERY ENTHUSIASTICALLY)
" I Can tell YOU are LOSING weight...I can see it in your FACE!!!"
I smiled and said, " I don't mean to be UNKIND, Dr. but I don't think
my face is what has been "getting in my way" for the past 25 years!!!"
It took him a moment to compose himself...LOL
