Just got back from a walk with my gf and in another 20 min going for a walk with my dad. Then I have to make a potato salad for a potluck at work tomorrow. There is not going to be too many healthy choices there. Going to bring some veggies for myself to fill my plate, and have a bit of everything else.

I was hoping to get on the elliptical for a bit but I am sure 2 45 min walk will do. I just have this nagging feeling that I could/should be doing more. Probably my mind wanting to lose more that a lb or 2 a week. I keep reminding myself that this is the healthy way. It just seems so slow. Like I look at my graph and each dot represents a week. It looks like it has barely moved.

House is a mess. Gotta get going on some cleaning, I am much more comfortable in a clean non-cluttered environment. It is just finding the energy to do it.

Of course looking forward to rowing tomorrow, and then I have 3 days off. I know they are going to go by fast...but weekends always do.

Still trying to shake last week out of my system. Tonight is a little harder, but going for walks instead of sitting and eating. Honestly after working out food is the last thing on my mind. I actually feel full after a workout, and the thought of anything greasy or fattening after a hard workout makes my stomach turn.

Jennifer you're doing great! Two 45 minute walks is amazing! Plus the added bonus of the social chats on the walks is a super bonus! I find talking and walking is a great way to burn off some stress.

Thanks so much Brandy. I just hope my chart starts reflecting that. It felt good to talk to my girlfriend and then my dad. I feel much better, tired but better. I am in total agreement with you. I have learned that exercise is a great way to deal with things.

You are doing a fantastic job! 1-2 lbs a week is GREAT! It gets you closer to you goal each week and it's NOT A GAIN! ( I have to tell myself this almost every day. LOL. I know it's hard) I hope you have a great time rowing. I hope you have been able to clear your head a bit. Just know we are all here for you. Have a great day hun!

The walks sound so nice! And sometimes people just suck, but like you've realized & I've had to remember too...eating our emotions won't help lol And working out more seems to make me eat less too! :) Have a great holiday weekend hun...you deserve it!
