Bwhahaha! I still have snow tires on my car - we believe it will snow again here in the North Country. 

and Friday is the day I get my CAR back finally! 

btw I am so not ready for shorts...hate my legs =( 

HCB - Better not take those tires off yet. I used to live on the Canadian Border and I'm sure they will get at least one major spring snow storm.  

Can I can start complaining yet? It was in the 90's yesterday. It's supposed to cool off this week end, but summer is right around the corner. I live in AZ for the winters... Oh well.  

Panigale - Actually I haven't worn shorts (in public) in years. Good thing capris are still available. I wanted to say capris are still "in style" but according to my son they have never been in style - LOL.

Anything's in style if it's your style! I totally rock capris too. It's not even a weight thing--I've just never liked my knees. :-) 

Woperchild - You are funny! I tell the kids at my age I've earned the right to wear what I want. Today I'm wearing a shirt with giraffes on it - just because I felt like it.  

Haha Buffy that is hilarious!!!!! Your son is funny. I still wear capris. I even see longer shorts.i forgot the name for them. I saw them sold for women. They end right above the knee. I know I have some capris that end right below the knee. Unless I tone up my legs before summer I am wearing pants... 

Love the weather that calls for shorts...that being said, I personally have always preferred wearing jeans. Totally agree,Buffy, by our age, we have earned the right to wear "whatever." LOL..On our first night back from honeymoon (35 years ago) my DW asked...what would you like for Supper. I replied..."Whatever you want to fix"...She replied," I don't know how to fix "whatever"....On Monday, she told me...Tonight for Supper, we are having "whatever". "I finally learned to fix it"...LOL...soooo FS Buddies, Wear and EAT "whatever"....just make sure you do it "MINDFULLY" (ON purpose)...Go Giraffes !!!!!! :) 

Spring, whoop whoop!! We are still pretty mild here in Ohio, 40's mostly, but I am already getting a taste of those warmer temps. Can't wait for short season!! I'm not a shorts person lol, I totally rock the capris though! Your son is wrong, they're SO in style :). Panigale, you're thinking of Bermuda shorts :) Another excellent option 

SuccessThisTime - at the rate you are losing, in another month you might just be rethinking those shorts!  

Yolanda - Hope your summer weather comes soon. BTW - my (unmarried) son is still at that age where he is looking for woman wearing mini skirts and short shorts. What can I say?  

Dresses. I don't do shorts. I could weigh 100 pounds and it would all be in my short dumpy legs. I've been altering my warm weather dresses. I've lost 5 sizes since this time last year. 

One of my goals is to look more fit by summer so I can make and wear some of the many cute skirt patterns that I have been collecting on pinterest. Also, our new house has a pool and I would like to feel less self-conscious in my swimsuit this summer. In the meantime, I am sticking with the capris. :) 

msbuggirl - Lots of cute sundresses in the stores now. Guess I should change up my look.  

izzypup - You make your own clothes? How clever! Best of luck with your goals.
