Well I am back from vacation. It was a lot of fun. I tried to make the best choices when eating out and stayed away from the chocolate candy that my aunt gave me a ton of in a basket. I kept and keep telling myself, it will taste a lot better next Easter when I am down to 150 (or less). I got exercise this weekend when I could. We went roller skating and I skated for a few hours. My legs didn't hurt or anything. We had a blast. I also swam a little too.

I still have to remind myself how much I weigh. This weekend while skating there was a jungle gym thing and I took my 3rd daughter up in it and played with her and really had a great time, but all the while I kept thinking people must be so disgusted seeing a 250lb woman in here. But I am not that weight. I had to stop myself and say look you are 183!! I felt fat this weekend. Then I kept thinking that I lost 71lbs and I should look better or more different. I was really having issues this weekend. I didnt let them bring me down, but I was having them.

I hope I can continue to lose weight and stay healthy and get more healthy. I also hope I can view myself better and feel better about my body. I am not losing weight to be thin, I am losing weight to be healthy and be a better parent to my kids.

All in all though I am very proud for how I acted with food this weekend.Yay me, I can be trusted to go out on my own and face temptation, more than those stupid people on Biggest Loser( Shame on them for giving into temptation).

Sounds like you did very well over your vacation. Good job!! I know exactly what you mean about seeing yourself as you are instead of how you used to be. I think that takes quite a while to shift. I also like what you said about losing weight for health reasons. It's not some "ideal" body you are aiming for ... it is to feel good, be healthy, and be able to move with your girls!! I am certain you will continue to make progress. EVERY DAY is progress because everyday you are alive and living your life!! Welcome home!!

Good Job Ashlee! You are inspiring! You are already becoming a healthy mom and a good role model for your girls. I saw those roller skating pictures and was uber-jealous!!! I guess you have just changed so fast that your brain needs to catch up with your body. :) you have years to get used to it, skinny-pants! Keep up the good work.
