Surprise, surprise, surprise!!!
I think I actually cried when I got on the scale this morning. This plateau of mine has had me so depressed but I stayed on the path went back to the Aktins book, read the chapter on weight loss stalls and came to terms with the fact that I have been missing a big piece of the puzzle. I focused on food and not exercise or supplements.
So, to the gym and the Vitamin Shoppe I went. I bought some ALA, Chromium, L-Carnitine and gymnema sylvestre. Jumped right in a did 30 minutes on the treadmill for the past 3 days + 2,000 mg of L-Carnitine and chromium and poof....3 lbs gone.
I also followed Dr. A's advice on increasing my FAT to Carb/Protein ratio.
So, since I did that all at once, not sure what helped the most. I'm confident it was the walking.
