Today is carb-up day. It amazes me how hard it is to keep the fat low and still get the target number of carbs.

I'm down to 15% body fat and 182.2 lbs.!

Today was leg day at the gym, not my favorite day, but whatever. I'm counting on growing my legs to help add to the increased caloric burn every day.

Squat: 145x14, 145x12 (increased weight)
Leg press: 335x14 (increased weight)
SLDL: 75x12 (forgot that range is supposed to be 6-8 reps, will increase weight next time)
Leg extension: 150x12 (increased weight)
Leg curl: 105x12 (increased reps)
Calf raise: 215x13, 210x11(increased weight on first set)

So improvements across the board.

Ok, I know zilch about this stuff but it looks like a lot. So I'm going to say "Way to go!" You are doing awesome with the increased weights. I just stumbled on bodybuildingdotcom and was quickly reminded that I don't really exercise. Keep it going!

I've taken to cycling mine. Carb load only on workout days right after workouts so the insulin shoves the glycogen into muscle tissue. I find carbs to be most problematic and I enjoy fats, so carb back loading with low carb days on non workout days works for me. It's hard to get the protein and keep the fats low on the carb loading days.

ChicaLean, ;-). Thanks! Yeah, unfortunately you've got to push yourself to see results. The body is great at adapting, so you always have to be ready to push it a little further. Cheers. NM, yeah, the Total Six Pack Abs program is a cutting diet, so it's low carb 6 days and high carb\low fat one day. It's best to do the high carb on a workout day, so I use Saturdays. That way I can enjoy things like frozen fat free yogurt with the kids, cereal for breakfast, and jelly on my toast. Once I reach 10% body fat I'll switch to musclehack.com M.A.N.S. diet, which is a carb cycling diet.
