LOL!!! Well my reaching goal didn't last long!! Ended up eating out TWICE yesterday and today I was up 3.8 lbs!! Okay, I know ... most of it is likely sodium so I am not fretting about it but still it was pretty funny!!

I had two Corona Lights at lunch, a handful of chips, and a naked chicken taco salad ... not bad at all. Then popcorn at the movies. Mom's plane was delayed so she got into the airport at 8:45 pm instead of 4:00 pm so we had time on our hands. Went to see True Grit ... which surprisingly to me I really enjoyed. After we picked her up she was hungry so we took her to Shari's and had breakfast at almost 10 at night. Oh my ... I was so stuffed I was miserable!! I had a chicken fajita omelet ... to the tune of 630 calories with 47 grams of fat!!! Didn't know that until I looked at their site this morning. Of course I opted for the stuffed hashbrowns which I don't think was included in the 630 calories and ate a few bites of mom's pancakes.

So I decided to triple my exercise this morning. Elliptical (46 minutes), kettle bells (30 minutes) and then Pilates (50 minutes)!!

I'm sure those 3.8 lbs are not here to stay. Eating so late isn't great either. It is almost noon here and I still haven't had anything to eat ... but that is next after I finish posting my exercise and this journal.

I am grateful today for ...

1. Mom arriving safely home

2. A fun time yesterday with my hubby who is more forgiving of me than I am of myself.

3. Sunshine two days in a row!!!

4. 18 days to Mexico

5. Looking forward to hearing all about my buddy Cathy's upcoming adventure!!!

I am being kinder to myself today ... and I was yesterday too. My foolish mistake isn't the end of the world. I just don't handle making mistakes very well. Hoping all is well in each of your respective worlds ... and you are staying kind to yourself ... I need you all in this with me ... I surely cannot do this alone!!!

If I ate that I would not eat for rest of the day!!! LOL very good show on your exercise! Brush yourself off and carry on its not one meal or a day or even a weeks worth of bad eating that will derail you!

Oops, double oops lol! Well, considering your daily deficit all week, those extra calories shouldn't make any difference in the big picture. Make sure you drink enough today, and flush this water retention. I'm glad your mom is back home safe and sound! Have a lovely Sunday Carol enjoy your family!

Ah, Carol, we all do that sometimes. It is not a big deal, and like you said I am sure the gain is from excess sodium. Hope your Sunday has been a wonderful one, and continue to practice kindness, you wonderful woman!
