For people who are struggling to lose weight especially with obesity or insulin resistance, I just want to share something that has helped me. I don’t do well with IF/OMAD etc- even though I’ve tried it in the past for even months on end, my mind doesn’t enjoy it nor does my body (I find it triggers my hypothyroidism symptoms over time)
BUT that being said, I know there are so many benefits to fasting to the body!! So I think I’ve found a way to combine the best of both- once a week I do a fast. From a supper to the following day breakfast, so about 36 hours. I have some some research into science of fasting and even once a week seems to be enough to trigger many of the health benefits.
