This shift is killing me, luckily there is only a little over a month till the quarter changes and I am on days. It's difficult to diet as it is, but then when you need to stay awake all night it's easier to munch to stay awake or pump the caffeine and sugar. And at the same time I am quiting smoking and wanting to eat much more. Trying to keep that at bay with chewing gum.

Kicking myself for buying an off brand of Italian seasoned ground turkey that was cheaper. I should have read the nutrition label but I was going for budget concious rather than diet. There are 22 grams of fat in a 4 oz serving of this stuff, I may as well have gotten lean ground beef for that. The flavor isn't bad, but the texture of the meat is not the greatest. Oh well, now I know for next time.

Starting the C25K challenge on Monday. I've done it before so am looking forward to getting rolling, or rather, running on that. I'll be better prepared for the 5k in June than for the last one that I ran. Just hope my shin splints don't act up too much.
