Was listening to country music today and a Kenny Chesney song from about 15 years ago about getting help because his drinking was out of control. All I could think was Hi, my name is Sheri and I am addicted to sugar. Please help. HA! I am so thankful that I found this site and that my buddies are helping me keep it real. I am so thankful for the journey that I have taken to get to this place and how much healthier I am. Here's to us!

I find that, despite some exceptional days when I still feel like eating sweets, that I'm feeling much less "dependent" on them right now! It's amazing how, in about two weeks, one goes from "can't live without" to "I'm actually pretty ok without it" lol

Give it two full weeks! :) It's gets very hard to resist for some time, but it's worth to, at least, see the effects (even if you decide to go back afterwards) :)
