What the hell???I planned and ate right and gained 5pounds in one day???Now thats absurd...I took weight several times ,once at home,once at hospital and once at my office,everywhere I see 165pounds.ANYONE HELP MEEEEE.I'm tired of all these.If I dont see progress in seven days I quit this struggle for becoming an ideal weight woman...

I have to follow carbs instead of net carbs or I don't lose! So I make sure I stay under 20 carbs a day! You could also have gained muscle weight! Don't give up and weigh again tomorrow as it might have gone by then! Drink plenty of water as this also helps!

This is a common problem with weighing often. There are several things that can cause a temporary gain, even when we are doing everything right: increased exercise, water, hormones, etc. As long as you are doing everything right, just keep an eye on it - I'm sure it'll be gone before you know it.

Lotus, you probably are retaining water. It may be your monthly cycle, or any number of things, as Keli stated. Don't give up. This is a lifelong journey, not a temporaray diet!

Hi Lotus, sounds like you are being tested by the diet Gods, at least that is what I think when that happens to me. In July I watched a documentary through this F.S. site called "10 Things You Need to Know" which is in my posts. If you have not seen it and have about 45 minutes it may give you some ideas, it had some great research and I learned value of soup that I try to incorporate into my everyday especially during the colder months. I loved the knowledge of the AFTERBURN! Also interesting that some low fat dairy will help burn more fat. So many practical great tips! Sometimes we know this stuff but it helps to be reminded and inspired. Keep surrounding yourself with inspirational people and be kind to yourself along the way. TOWANDA!!!

You can change as soon as you want to, I know this from personal experience. It started big time for me January 2010, when I was 193 pounds, at 192 I made a personal shift within, it was that fast!!!!Please feel free to write me and use me as a sounding board or let me know how I may lend a hand:) TOWANDA!!!!!!
