....as noted in my previous entry, this has been a very trying week. Grandma passed yesterday around 4PM. Got the call while I was at work, and I was going to try and stick it out, but I wanted to let my manager know that I wouldn't be in this coming week. He took one look at me and said "Why are you still here? Go home". I'm so thankful that my current job is filled with actual humans and not the shittastic bosses I've had in the past that refuse to recognize you have family outside of work. And the same goes for my coworkers. Never worked anywhere before where people go out of their way to offer condolences and help with whatever is needed.
I'm dealing. I'll probably bawl my head off at the actual funeral, and I broke down a bit upon getting the news, but nothing like the massive watershed I had back on Tuesday. I wrote her a letter that will be placed in the casket, along with a picture I did for her a while ago that she'd had on her headboard.
