Good morning FS buddies!!
So, here it is Tuesday again... time to start another work week! Spent a lot of time on the computer yesterday morning looking up houses for rent. Our lease is up on our house on Oct. 1, and although we could stay here if we want, we decided to look around and see what's out there. The very first house I saw online really caught my eye and I called my husband and told him that I had found our house. I pulled up about 8 more to go look at, then when he got home, we started going to look at them. We looked at 4, then finally got to go meet the lady with the original one that I had liked, got to see the inside and outside, and fell in love!! So, we have to wait for the application to go through, but looks like we will probably be moving around the beginning of the month! I know it sounds crazy, but we actually enjoy moving. If nothing else, it always gives us a chance to go through our stuff and get rid of whatever we don't want....
Besides that, I did some shopping, some more laundry, picked up the house a little, and got my hair cut. Not sure I'm real thrilled with the cut, but I'll play with it a little before I complain.
No more time... gotta go... will write more later! Have a SUPER FANTASTIC day everyone!!

Wowzers! A spur of the moment move, eh?? Sorry, I don't share your enthusiasm with moving. lol Maybe if I did it more, I'd have less stuff to worry about... too bad! lol Although, a new house, is very exciting. Can't wait to see the new hair cut, too... pix! :) Have a great day!

Wow! You're moving in less than a month! Yes, the purging part of moving is very therapeutic and nicer surroundings can be a plus but everything else in between SUCKS! LOL. The changing of addresses, the packing, the lifting, the cutting off of services and starting them up, forwarding the mail, playing the crapshoot that you like your new neighbours... you like that stuff? To each his own, I guess! Good luck with the move. I hope you wind up liking your new haircut.

Yeah, like I said, it sounds crazy... BT-- we actually contemplated going back 'home'... but this house is only maybe 2 miles from where we are right now, just quieter area and ranch style.. almost 1900 SF on one level, with a cute little yard and 3 car garage, which is a HUGE thing for my hubby. When you rent, you have to give a 30 day notice, which we will do after we know for sure that we have the house, so we will have until this time next month to be out, but would like to be able to start moving into the new house at the beginning of October-- that will give us a chance to clean this house and tie up any loose ends. The kids will be changing schools, but won't be so far away from friends that they will feel completely alienated... the girls are actually looking forward to the change-- their school is the newest in our district and has rave reviews so far! As for the hair cut... I'll post pictures as soon as I can get someone to TAKE some! LOL!

Yeaup-- we thought about it... Rick goes out to Boring quite often for work and came home the other day saying "Maybe we should move back out to Sandy". I probably would go, but kids would probably not be real happy ;(

lol It's grown sooo much! I think they'd adjust... but sounds like you don't have to worry about it. :)

there was a time there when I was in my 20's that we seemed to move quite often! I loved it too, and even learned all these great ways to pack efficiently! I hope you get the house you fell in love with crossing my fingers for you!
