Well I did it. I braved the scale this morning after completing a low calorie day, successfully, yesterday. Not too bad. Up 2 lbs. And my weight fluctuates quite a bit anyway. Considering how much I ate on Monday and Tuesday that's a downright miracle!!!

I still haven't gotten back into an exercise routine. I was going to today but DH arrived home AFTER I got up which meant he wanted some breakfast before he went to bed. So, instead of exercising I cooked. Oh well. Such is life. I will get back to it. I will!!!

Today I think I'll just do a "normal" calorie day. I've already had my breakfast and need to soon meander up to the shower to get myself ready for the day. I have several appointments today including a dentist visit. Just a follow up cleaning so hopefully it won't be too bad. It's chilly here ... 23 this morning ... with some light snow but nothing outrageous. Driving shouldn't be too much of an issue. And the week is almost over!!

Tuesday is a holiday next week and I'm going to take Monday too (though I may do some work at home) giving me another 4 day weekend. I'm counting down the days till my mom leaves too. She will be heading to southern California for a few months come mid-January. Sister time for her and "alone" time for me as DH will be working nights at least 4 nights a week. Oh just think of all that time I can exercise!!!???!!! Think I will??? Anyone want to take bets????

I met with a good friend yesterday for coffee at Starbucks and that was so wonderful. I got to meet her new baby girl, Macy, who is just 3 1/2 months old. What a cutie!! It always feels so wonderful to hold a new baby. Such a wonder.

I've been reading up some on juicing and trying to figure out if I want to try it. DH really wants me to join him. I have mixed feelings but will probably at least do a 3 day stint with him at some point. We are thinking of buying a new juicer though ... decisions, decisions, decisions.

Well the morning is slipping away from me ... so let me think about what I am grateful for today ...

Still grateful for a very enjoyable Christmas holiday this year ...

Time with friends.

Safe travels for myself and my loved ones.

Every moment I have with my DH and my mom!!!

Continuity on the kindness front, both towards myself and others. Ever mindful that this is a journey not a destination ... hoping that fact sinks into my brain at some point!!! Enjoy the day!!

Morning Carol..so glad you had a great holiday...Stay warm and safe on those roads...I was at Sam's the other day and they were making cups of coffee..those single ones..it was very good..Catch you later...:O)

Carol you are doing fantastic!!!! I know you will get back to your exercise. Good job with the scale. I m not sure I am going there. Might just be too discouraging. Have a great day.
