Saturday morning. Up MUCH earlier than I had intended. Just couldn't sleep well after DH got home. Kept waking up. My hot flashes have been few and far between but not early this morning. Headache, just not quite feeling myself. I do have an 8 am telephone appointment this morning so I guess it's okay I'm up. Need coffee. It just finished perking.
Scale up a lb. today. Still I stayed within my RDI yesterday. I think I consumed something like 1400 calories. No way I actually gained a lb. I know but very, very annoying. I must remember I am trying something new and give myself a little wiggle room, be patient, but y'all know I'm not great at patience.
Today will be a high calorie day for me. DH and I will be taking Mom out for a delicious steak dinner tonight and I am really looking forward to it. Will see what an increase in calories does. I'm prepared to see a gain on the scale. Don't want to but I am prepared. One would think as long as I have been doing this I would have accepted by now the normal fluctuations on the scale ... but I still struggle with it. Perhaps I really am a control freak?! OCD?! Oh no ... don't say it ... a perfectionist?! LOL
Anyway ... that's today in a nutshell. I'm trying to get myself on the floor for Pilates but just not feeling all that great. I think I will start with a cup of coffee and see how that goes. I will have time AFTER my phone appointment for Pilates ... not really a hurry today. We won't be leaving the house until sometime this afternoon.
Supposed to get big snow today. Time will tell.
