More than half of the day has disappeared already. Yikes!!! No exercise done. Egads!!! I've been fooling with my iPad and trying to get my contacts straightened out. Geesh ... it has taken a lot of time.

Weight down a tad again ... a whole whopping 2 tenths of a pound. I know, I know ... my chart looks good ... I shouldn't complain ... I need to put on my rose colored glasses, so on and so forth. I am, of course pleased with the losses so far. Like I said before I think I'm still reeling from just how far I let myself go and until I get closer to my range I'm still feeling a bit defeated. That doesn't mean I don't realize that I'm losing.

While I do still laugh and have a bit of enjoyment in my life I'm just really struggling overall. My "get up and go" has "got up and went." I feel like I'm on autopilot. I do "normal" things and many think I am just "fine" but I basically want to crawl under a rock and hide. No, let me correct that. What I want to do is run away to some place tropical with my husband. I want to spend the rest of his days playing, having fun, seeing the world. Problem? Oh yea ... I remember ... that takes money. So I am plodding along ... remembering that there is someone "bigger, stronger, kinder, and wise" who is in control ... doing my best to take care of me by eating well, moving my body, practicing kindness, practicing gratefulness, etc.

I did get some good news last night though!!! My dearest friend in the universe is coming to my town for a business meeting in January!! She'll be driving up the night before her meeting so I will get to spend a little time with her, go to dinner ... I am just thrilled about that!!!

It is quite winter like here. We had a big dump of snow and everything is covered in white. It is very pretty.

Grateful ... let's see ...

* a good night's sleep
* hubby home safely after a hectic winter night
* figuring out how to use my iPad as my calendar for work
* slow but steady weight loss
* my faithful fatsecret buddies
* 2 days off work!!!!

Well I'm thinking I should probably get off my duff and at least do some Pilates. I skipped yesterday, I really shouldn't skip again today. Hoping my buddies are well and enjoying life. Take care!

Hey Carol..loved this as you are doing quite well even though you would rather be some where else...BIG HUGS ...Keep taking care of you and being kind to you...I saw the snow on FB..very pretty...still glad your driving in it instead of me..LOL...:O)

I don't mind the driving. Just wish everyone else would stay off the roads. Much safer if you are driving alone!
