Sunday afternoon here. We started out with snow this morning that has turned to rain. Wet.

Hubby and I went to a movie yesterday saw Flight with Denzel Washington. I enjoyed it. We ate at a little hole-in-the-wall Thai place that we've been meaning to try out. It was very good. We shared an order of spring rolls and and order of shrimp stir fry. Very tasty. I tried, unsuccessfully to NOT eat any popcorn. I didn't eat very much but I did eat some. Scale was up 4 tents of a pound which I imagine reflects the sodium. I'm fairly confident my calories were well within my RDI.

Hubby has been investigating nutritional and other alternative approaches to his cancer. He has concluded he needs to change his diet. He isn't sure what he will do yet but he is pondering. Should be interesting.

I've done well this past week. Nothing stupendous on the scale to report but at least I am generally moving in the right direction. I am trying to keep in mind 4 months, December, January, February, and March. 4 months to make some significant progress. My birthday is mid-April. I don't want to set myself up for a particular number by my birthday only that I will be significantly closer to my goal. 4 months. One day, one meal at a time. The only obstacle I have is myself. I refuse to be my own obstacle. I can make wise choices. I can be kind to myself. I can do this.

Busy at. With work related duties but that never seems to change. I'm doing okay. Hope you all are doing okay too

Hey Carol...thats all we can do is take every minute and day at a time..4 months is a good tiem to drop a few..I thinks its easier for me in the winter than summer...I guess as I cook more than going out... And it is soooo hard not to eat popcorn at the movies...Yummy...Have a great day...:O)
