Yesterday marked a wondrous day for me; and today marks one just as wonderful.
Yesterday, I received my 10% key chain from Weight Watchers. This means that I have lost 10% of my original body weight since I started!
Today, I put in my weight on Fat Secret. I'm now in the yellow!
I am so excited as this chapter in my life comes to a close. Not my healthy eating plan; this I will keep and carry with me for the rest of my life. But the chapter of crying over ill-fitting clothes that used to look so flattering; the chapter of trying desperately to zip up a pair of jeans, but knowing deep down that they would never fit. This time in my life is coming to a close. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.
One of my favorite YouTubers says the following: "The secrets to life are hidden behind the word cliche." This is so true to me. This man has lost over 115 pounds, has run 2.5 marathons, and is running 200 miles in the month of September.
So, as this time of my life is coming to an end, I realize that I don't hate the body that I am leaving behind. I pity it.
