Actual conversation I had with my husband tonight (while standing in our orchard): He picks up and peach and eats it. He picks up another peach and eats it. Mind you I already had about 1/2 cup of blackberries. He picks up another one and says here. I say no thank you and he looks at me with a strange look. So I tell him remember I am trying to lose weight? Even though peaches are healthy even too much healthy food can cause you to gain weight. He says Oh.
Hmm, I'm not sure he got it.

This made me giggle. I can relate. My boyfriend decided to low carb it with me. He called me today complaining that he had bought a bunch of beans because he didn't think they had any carbs. O.O I politely said yep, it's starch, but they do have a lot of fiber, so you deduct that and a serving only has 14 net carbs...and that since he's a guy he can probably lose a lot by eating only 30-50 net carbs a day. Also not sure he got it.

At least he's trying. My hubby can lose weight so fast it's amazing.

Some people just have that crazy metabolism! O.O But yes, he's trying and he is encouraging me, so it's really nice. I made a big meal the other night at his house and told him it was all under 500 calories, it included soup with low carb noodles, salad, and skillet chicken and veggies. He was surprised, and it was all low carb. :)

I wouldn't even go there with carbs anything with my husband. When we were first married we were throwing wind fall apples across the road and he tells me I throw like a girl. My reply I am a girl! lol
