Had fam in town so I completely took a break from eating right for my bod. Mom made some bomb filipino food (fried rice, pancit, lumpia), grabbed a super burrito with the sis and her kids, pizza and wings with the grandparents in Oregon, and I who knows what else. Hehe, ya ya ya ya, ok, I'm yo-yo-ing, but I take comfort in the knowledge that I know I can take it off easily with a little hard work and focus. Despite all that, I ran yesterday and felt great- the stamina and strength are coming back and still much better than it was 6 months ago. Here's to slimming back down this week! C-WW diet anyone? >=)

There's something about family that just brings on the comfort food... I don't hate it either.

Family is an important component, even if it means a short hiatus. It sounds like you had a wonderful time, and that goes a long way toward feeding the mind and spirit. You did the right thing, and it sounds like your back with confidence and determination.

Very true! I got to indulge on stuff I've been missing so much. I feel satisfied and ready to get back on it! Although, today is culteral diversity day here on base, so there's going to be a festival with food from all over the world. But it's ok, I'll just have the brats without the bun. >=)

I did 5 mins the other day. Whew. Killer! can't wait to build my endurance back up to 10 mins of burpees! Bwahaha!

hehe. It's all mental, Erika. It's like doing a 30 minute workout in 10 mins >=) Crossfit style! Just wish I had something to do muscle ups on! Whew!
