Sunday has arrived. July is almost over and it seems I've not really lost any weight. Darn. It's not for lack of effort. Will just have to keep on going ... the pounds have got to slide off eventually, right?
Mouth is still not in great condition. Apparently my infection is resistant to the penicillin. Finally talked to the dentist yesterday evening and he was going to call in a prescription for a new antibiotic and some pain pills. I ate yogurt and scrambled eggs yesterday. Oh and two sugar free fudgsicles. Soft food. Chewing is hard.
Today hubby wants to go to Winco and price foods for storage. I'm not terribly excited about it but means we can also go to Trader Joe's. Both are located in a city about 2 1/2 hours from us. My hubby is sort of a preparedness guy. Okay, not sort of. Very much. It goes in waves. Trust me. If the system stops working, we get a major winter storm and are snowed in, there's a big earthquake ... well let's just say we'll be okay for quite a while.
So we will be eating out at least one meal today. I hope I can make wise choices and stay reasonable. I'm thinking noodles at the Thai place, although high in carbs, easy to eat. I guess I should get off my rear and do my Pilates before hubby wakes up. I've been pretty good at doing at least half my DVD everyday. I think I only missed one day this week when my mouth was REALLY hurting.
