So my sparring injuries (and subsequent re-injuries) are largely gone and it appears my body is ready to reflect that. Of course, me being me, I went ahead and stayed as active as ever including helping teach a woman's self defense class last weekend. It turns out that a 100 lb woman can really lay the smack down when your ribs are bruised. ;)

Speaking of staying active, last night was the first group class for Salsa dance. My wife wants to start dancing on weekends and it sounds like fun so I'm learning. She, of course, has picked it up just from going to clubs. I need some help, but at least I'm not totally inept.

All my injuries are usually ankle related, so it only takes a 10 pound clumsy dog to bring me to my knees. :)

What a great new thing to do w/ the wife! Go out have some fun with it, I am sure she will appreciate you trying at all. Sucks about your injury, get better.

Dancing the night away is one of the best natural exercises I know of. You are right at your all time low right now so it's time to push really hard and get to that new low in the coming days. Excellent work my friend!
