Don't know how I managed this tiny loss after the week I had. I headed out of town on Thursday to attend my sister's memorial. My mother and I went out to eat and I insisted on driving. Two steak-tips into my dinner, a man came in and asked if anyone in the restaurant had Vermont plates. Yup... he hit my parked car with his Ford F150. Had to drive it back to my Mom's and park it until I left on Sunday. Funny story though, I was in a car accident the day before my sister's wedding all those years ago. It kinda felt like she was messing with me, so I laughed my way through it. Now it sits at a collision center with more than $4K worth of damage and we are a one car family for the next two weeks or so. We didn't have rental coverage and HE is uninsured. The memorial was casual and sweet. We let off sky lanterns after a blessing. It was really beautiful. My emotions are all over the place, but I feel like I'm on the other side of this. Appointment with the nutritionist was able to be rescheduled to tomorrow, so I'm hoping to finally get to work. Thank you all for your good thoughts, blessings and love. It is truly appreciated.
