Well I thought 5 days without power was bad...it turned into 10 days total and then when they turned on power on day #8, all Hell broke loose as a neutral line to our house had broke and when the power came on we got a full power surge 220 volts and it blew out the microwave, two TVs, mattress warmer, lamps, stereo, multiple outlets, and everything was sparking and crackling...good thing we were here or the house would have burned down....never have I been so scared in my life...stress here has been at an all time high and have eaten when and what was easy to pick up....better days have got to be coming!!!! Hope you all are doing good. Plus last Sunday was my 65th birthday and one I will never ever forget!!!!

Oh my!!!! You have my sympathy dear!!!!! I remember during Irma when the power was out for a week in the Florida heat, ugggh!!!!!! & Atleast we had a clubhouse that had A/C, but there was hardly no sleep that week,,,... My prayers are with you!!!!

Thank you all for the comments and birthday wishes....Last week was much better although still finding appliances and outlets that do not work, but like they say, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger! Hmmmm...so I'm hanging in and did 3 21 hour fasts last week...and healthy eating...now to get with more exercise....and Thanksgiving this coming week too....Hope you all have a happy turkey day!
