Not sure if it's the weather, been raining last couple of days, circumstances (work), or my diet, been struggling with my old foe depression. It just hit me this evening... my depression could be that my birthday is this Sunday. And I always get this away during this time, due to feeling like my life is a "waste." Compared to my "dreams" as a foolish High schooler, and where I am at today.. <career wise> would disappoint anyone...

I would get so overwhelmed by the task I have set out to accomplish (losing 1/2 my body weight) that I have changed my goals. No more than 30 lbs at a time, hitting "milestones" like new BMI catagory, nice round number, whatever...just break it up into goals you can see. You'll build victory momentum, and teach yourself you *can* do this. I've lost 150+ pounds this way, my first goal was losing enough to register in my scale (350!)!!! Now I've got 3 goals left- "overweight" BMI, 199lbs, then 180 (or whatever feels healthy!)
