Not having a fun time gaining weight back. :( I stopped eating the Julian bread, but that might not be the cause. I guess I'll just have to eat more protein and cheese. I've been eating salad and nuts, which I think are for the next phase.

I think I also need to drink more water during the day. And maybe have less dressing on my salad if I do have salad.

Nuts are actually OK after 2 weeks on Induction, according to the latest Atkins book. However, they pack a big caloric punch and they can be VERY easy to eat in larger quantities. I'm one of those who has to be exceptionally careful when I have them and there are many on site that have had problems with nuts, as well. You wrote the other day that you're just starting bc pills so, depending on the level of hormones, your uptick in weight might be due to that....might want to check with your doctor and/or read over the info one usually gets when a prescription is filled. Otherwise, good idea dropping that low-carb bread....just in case. You have a relatively lesser amount of weight to drop, so it will probably come off more slowly. Just stick with the plan and measure and record everything, even if you're a good estimator. Sometimes we can surprise ourselves...in fact, just the other day I went back and measured out my salad dressing, just in case it had "grown." Good luck.

Thanks Sandy! I've been on the bc pill for a while. I meant I'm starting the next pack, but I guess I didn't phrase it correctly. This'll be my third week in the LC diet, and last week was my off week on them. I'm horrible at estimating. I think it would be neat to have a salad bar with measuring cups and spoons instead of regular spoons and tongs. I'm probably underestimating a lot of food (especially the cheese) so I really do need to start packing my lunch so I know exactly what's in everything.
